You will own the control mappings and the evidence model: the part of Trellis that decides whether a paragraph someone wrote in Notion actually satisfies CC6.3. You have either been audited or done the auditing, and you can write code.
What you will own
- Own the control catalog and the evidence requirements behind each control
- Design the checks that stop the model from crediting evidence that is not there
- Work with our compliance research lead on new frameworks
- Talk to customers during their first audit and bring back what broke
Who this suits
- You have taken a company through SOC 2 or signed the reports
- You write enough code to ship your own changes
- You would rather say a control is missing than make a customer feel good
